District 9
25 Years of Dedicated Service to San Juan County
San Juan County Fire Department, District 9, Sullivan Road started in 1984 and operated out of a two bay station on land donated by Mary Sullivan. The station now has a large meeting area and an additional apparatus bay.
District 9 covers an area of 185 square miles with three pieces of apparaus and appoximately 15 volunteers out of one station located on CR 4990 south of Bloomfield, NM.
District 9 serves San Juan County citizens south of Bloomfield, NM as well as portions of Northern NAPI. District 9 has automatic aid agreements with District 6 & 11 and provides mutual aid support to Bloomfield FD when requested.
